Jonel Fund Scholarship

The Jonel Fund Scholarship was established in memory of Jonel Hoogterp, Valedictorian of the class of 2001 from Engadine Schools.  Jonel excelled in academics, sports (basketball), and photography.  She died in 2009 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian car accident.  At the time of her death she was an emergency medical technician studying to become a paramedic.  Jonel loved people, it is through her caring for others that this scholarship was formed.
